Nimble is a website and app for street sports in the city. It helps you to find people, places and sporting events.
For this project, back in 2012, I developed the initial idea, the branding, the website functionality and the app.
It started all with the Web Design project Youth.Web with my professors from (dici la scuola) Kris Krois and Matteo Moretti. We had to design a web service for young people in South Tyrol. My group consisted of one student from the Computer Science Faculty, Daniel, and Giulia and I from Design and Arts.
Together we created Nimble, a web platform for urban street sports which helps you find and meet new people, new sports and events to practice sports. Additionally, it makes you feel involved in a community of people that likes the same sports as you do. Nimble helps even the youngest to get out of their home to practice sports in the fresh air.
I personally came up with the Identity Design of the website. Now Nimble is becoming an App for smart-phones, which allows the customer to stay always tuned! I had the opportunity to follow the Lean Startup Course of Professor Pekka Abrahmsson.
There I learned how to develop a general Business Plan, how to launch a Startup in the market and how to make it profitable.
I even learned that the 99% of the startups fails. But it is always a learning experience to try.
